Really good Stay with Great Amenities

I found the ocean view from my room excellent. Check-in was fast and efficient. I requested a late check-out and it was granted without any issues. The restaurant manager, Mr Supun, served superb food that met my specific dietary requests. He even arranged for a special breakfast in my room since I arrived late after my activities.

My room was spacious, very beautiful and included a direct ocean view. Linens and towels were always fresh and cleaned in the room. I appreciated the modern amenities. Every room includes an ocean-facing balcony.

The rooms have light switches for everything. The bathrooms were huge, yet practically designed.
The hotel used live fish as table decor during the New Year's Eve celebration. These poor creatures were confined inside glass cylinders on the dessert table! It was an unethical practice.

A Romantic Escape by the Bay

Our room was fantastic, a true haven. We enjoyed the view from the eighth floor so much! Experiencing the sunset every evening was an amazing feeling, so tender. Breakfast was divine. The choices of dishes were perfect.
The hotel considered an upgrade to mean a room of the same size, yet on a different floor. The room we ended up in for the first night had a noticeable smell. Also the carpet was dirty. We were lucky to be moved to a larger room after speaking with staff.

The staff were very attentive. They even asked if we wanted hot drinks to take away with us, a kind gesture. I believe attention to detail makes a stay more special.

The room included all the amenities we required. Also it was modern, clean, and spacious with lovely views of the beach. I relished the quiet atmosphere there and the excellent views.

There was a great variety of food, and we all loved the fresh dosa's and naan bread made at request! The food was very tasty, so we enjoyed having lots of options for breakfast.

The room had an amazing ocean view. The hotel has multiple restaurants and the food was good (i especially liked the breakfast).
The beach near the hotel was very crowded with people taking surf lessons. The prices at the restaurants felt quite expensive.

the swimming pools were great for the kids. the kids club activities were varied and the staff there were very nice with children (b and chandani are amazing!). the buffet food options were delicious, and offered different types of cuisines.
the hotel water was in plastic bottles and you get a limited amount of them. all other hotel chains in the region are using glass or reusable bottles and give plenty of water free of charge. the gym was dark and dingy.

the hotel features real clean large pools, and the gardens were well maintained to a high standard. the kids' club offers varied activities and the staff there are great with kids. the hotel also has a well equipped gym.

the location is lovely with ocean front offering great waves for surfing and other beach activities. the hotel offers a beautiful view over the ocean from the balcony (i could spend hours there!). it is a beautiful place.

the room had two separate sinks and a rainfall shower i found this very convenient it also included good quality toiletries there were four bottles of water provided each day this was a nice touch the room was very clean. i appreciated the fine ocean view from my room it added a special touch to my visit the room itself was spacious and thoughtfully arranged the cleanliness was notable. the breakfast buffet had a delicious variety i especially enjoyed the three different curries i was happy with the room service and the superb cleanliness.
i found the beach near the hotel was not particularly appealing and had many people learning to surf.
